I created an online course in Canvas with modules designed to teach the steps needed to create a classroom blog. I used this course in conjunction with professional development in a blended learning model. The use of online learning combined with face to face professional development allowed teachers in my building to connect with their preferred method of learning. Each professional development session had an open work time at the end in order to allow individuals to work on what they felt was most important for their implementation of the project. This personalized learning model allowed those comfortable with the technology to move ahead while also giving slower learners the extra time and help to be successful.
What follows are video lessons from that canvas course. While there is much more content provided in the actual course, this will give you an idea of the content provided during my professional development sessions.
